Chess Tournament for The New York Times

Spent the day photographing over 5000 kids playing chess in a huge chess tournament at the Opryland Convention Center for writer Dylan McClain's story. The story was actually about astronaut Greg Chamitoff and a chess game that he played with a group of elementary school students while he was aboard the International Space Station for 6 months. Chamitoff attended the chess competition and was able to meet his opponents face to face for the first time.
