Symphony Ball for The Tennessean

This was one of those grip and grin assignments that we all as visual story tellers dread. But, its part of the business, and I DO appreciate the business, so you just try to make the best of it. As much as I dread these kinds of assignments as the next guy, there is always SOMETHING interesting to photograph. This was my best effort to make something different.

Also, I had to wear a tux, with tails.........and a white bow tie.........yep.

Freekbass

My cousins next door neighbor, Freekbass, was having a CD release show at a movie theater tonight and invited me along to check it out. Bootsy Collins sort of helped to make this guy famous and was actually there hanging out, in full Bootsy Collins glory. I decided to take my camera and make a couple pictures. You can't help but take advantage of stage lighting, you know?
